If it would be possible:
What do you think about a personal chat room, so that a discussion only between two persons is possible. For my taste itīs often too crowded in the chat.

It definitely is possible, and I'm planning to have that as a feature for donators once I get the donator system going (that is, donators will be able to personal-message others, and others will be able to personal-message them, in the chat). See this for more details:

The reason I am inclined not to enable PMing for everyone in the chat is that I think it has a good chance of killing the chat, as people might PM each other more than chat publicly.

I think it will help for people with common interests to chat.
I've been in the chat room where people who prefer bodybuilders have chatted away with others who I know prefer fitness girls stayed relatively quiet.

To some extent this would defeat the purpose of the general chat which is to meet new people. Once you get into PM mode, you're stuck talking to the same person over and over again instead of branching out. Chainer's idea has merit though, and I'm curious to see what happens once it's implemented. I like it because it doesn't force you to give your personal contact info out over the web...

OK maybe limit the amount of pm converations you can have at one time to one or two. So that when there is more than 3 people in the chat there you can have a good group chat and talk about common interests (as in HUGE muscle girls or fitness) with others.
Just an idea though.
Still I'd love to see pm conversations enabled.

all of the chat programs always had this feature and the end result was it always killed the chat room because guys would ONLY private msg the girls and the girls would be so busy gthey coulde not talk in the room.
