Not convinced this is Tanya although it certainly looks like it could be. I have yet to see a single "selfie" of her, so this doesn't really fit at all with her other pics.

Also, there's no tattoo on the inside right ankle of this girl like there is on Tanya in this pic...

Re: The tattoo. The photo is a mirror image. So the image is reversed. So, what looks like her right leg is really her left leg. Yes? No?

You're absolutely right, hadn't considered the mirror. That throws the tattoo observation out the window, yet I'm still not convinced that it's Tanya.

Almost all digital photography (all except super high resolution shots from a few rare uber machines) has always been of lower picture quality than early analogue photography. Remember, old cameras would use transparencies of many inches height and width.

@Scaramouche Except phone apps such as Instagram deliberately degrade images for "artistic" effect. Digital cameras on phones are usually pretty good quality these days. It's just a shame they doctor the image in-phone rather than creating a good original image for later processing into arty versions.

Tanya is wonderful and well deserving of GOTW but I don't think this is her.
Btw: Instagram have apparently introduced a new policy/user agreement whereby they own copyright and can onsell (for any purpose and without notification or permission) any image uploaded after January 16th.
